    FINALLY, but I've heard of them before as well, I just didn't thought they would be released this fast.
    If they're better than the HD7000's, then as I said to myself, I will probably upgrade from my HD5870 to the HD8870, along with a new nice CPU for which I would need help to find a good i7 Intel Quad Core for it. (I need i7 since I do a lot of video, sound editting as well as mapping and 3D Modelling)

    Ghost, could you find any semi-official idea for a release date? I've been trying to snag something up off of Google but couldn't find shit. All just forum rumor talk.

    It's CES showcase they won't be releasing till at least Second Quarter of this year. However it's been released for OEMs so they'll release a firm release date.

          Specs are already out on the link Ghost has in the OP. AMD has them on their website. I was wanting to find a release price and what to expect, even though I'm waiting til the 9xxx series from AMD or Nvidia's GTX 800 series.

          Naah these cards have the same cycles every year.

          On release:

          x970 = £450
          x950 = £350

          Half a year later

          x970 = £350
          x950 = £250

          Then that glide down at about £50 every half year.
