Am I missing something?

How the hell do you connect to servers that have custom maps/game modes? Whenever I try it gives me a session no longer available message. No matter trying server browser or console connecting zego.plaguefest.com, it yields the same results. So, am I missing something?

Server is full I think. Check console, should start downlaoding.

Not really. I was hoping they would patch to improve the whole server connection issue. Basically it'll say that when it's rebooting due to a valve thing, or when the map is full.

I had it doing it when it wasn't full so I went in, closed steam and killed it, deleted the ClientRegistry.blob in the steam folder, and then was able to connect. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it, but it worked afterwards.

CS:GO also doesn't give you any messages on the screen, so open your console to see if you are downloading or anything else.

Poor ClientRegestry.blob.... always getting killed. Also, I only remembered it was released because my steam removed the 'beta' from the title. Pretty hype release, gaben.

EDIT: also, why the hell does retry not work anymore...

EDIT 2: Deleted the blob, got this wile connecting....doesn't seem like it's even starting the download

Same problem here. I got an invite from ghost and was able to connect only once. Now I tried connecting like 15 times and it tells me the same thing or connection failed after 10 retries.

Funny. Dharkk and I both solved our connection problem with deleting ClientRegistry.blob and restarting Steam. I thought all session key management went through it. :sarcastic:

I'm having the same problem. Give Valve a night I suppose, and just use that auto-selection thingy and get used to GO.

I mailed the CS:GO server mailing list two updates ago, no response or acknowledgement of the problem. It doesn't even seem to be on their radar if it doesn't affect lobbies. I'm still keeping the issue alive, Sorry for the inconvenience.

One solution may be go to: Options > Game Settings > 'Enable Game Instructor Messages' to YES(mine was on NO)

I was having the same problem and I did that, tried and it worked. Goodluck.
