can someone tell me how to convert an existing .gif into a CSS spray?
First you will need to download VTFEdit.
For animated sprays, you're going to have to take apart your .gif, and save every frame as a separate image.
Then uh. I forget. :/ Add me on Steam or hopefully someone else will be able to get the rest. I have to go refresh my memory.
Okay, any specific size for the frames?
I usually do 128x128 but I'm pretty sure anything to the power of 2 will work. The biggest is 512x512 though.
Does it need 2^x size? Because when i scale it it looks crappy
Yes, the entire engine is based on the power of 2, so all textures, pictures, sprays are made on a 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 512x512 texture scale.
If you want, send me the picture and I'll see what I can do.
Edit: The sexy man below me has a better way. ^^
Nice tutorial, :thanks:
Now I just need to figure out how to resize .gif's without loosing quality
Separate names with a comma.
