    I use ambient_generics and wav formats with various compression codecs. Which ones do you guys use to encode your wav files for the lowest size? Also, any mappers still using soundscapes and mp3s? Thanks.

      I use audacity, goldwave, etc. My question is, when you export the sound, which codec or option do you use to save it?

      (My version is danish god damit)
      What i change in the file is;

      22050 (Hz)
      +0-7/depends on the current volume
      64 kbps
      Saving it as Mp3

      I'm not sure if it's that you meant

        I have had bad luck with mp3s and ambient_generics. For me, it is the following that is most compatible:

        Mp3 and env_soundscape
        Wav and ambient_generic

        Mp3 and ambient_generic is a bad combo. But thank you for the information, I will try as you auggested. :smile:

        I use ambient_generics with mp3s (128kbps, 22kHz) for all the music in my maps. haven't had any problems.
