anyone know a good cfg for a ze movie im making.

i tried a few of the well known video editors(clayman, enigma RUS). but they are not working correctly and if i try changing something in the cfg file. none of the things work.

so im basically using cl_drawhud 0
to get rid of the hud. but im losing the kill feed as well.

anyone know how i can keep it? like in this video i want to show how many ppl get killed and in other clips i just hide eveything. and i just want a mix of both. so simply console cmd to get rid of all the hud except killfeed.

so yea making a video of basically 10-15 maps in 30 secs each since there are so many maps. ive been server hopping a lot to get lots of old maps. and i gots loads of demos, but if you got anything extra that would be nice

here is link if you want to see my progress

I havn't made any half life movies in a long, long time, so I can't suggest a true solution. However, I have an idea for a workable hack that you might try... you can record a demo twice: once with nothing showing (no killfeed, no GUI), and once with everything showing. Then, you import the two videos into video editing software, and put them on overlapping layers with the video that has the GUI and stuff as the bottom layer. Then for every frame (the video software should have an option for this but I can't remember what its called), remove the top right part of the screen, so the bottom video shows through, but only the part that contains the killfeed.

Sorry I have no better idea :/

Hmm, I don't know anything about Powerdirector, sorry. I used Adobe Premier and Sony something. Look for something having to do with layering maybe?
