Congress Investigates Obama’s Attempt to Become Dictator

If Obama’s complete disregard for the constitutional limits imposed on the presidency continues, it will create a precedent in which future presidents will act as absolute autocrats.
At a congressional hearing on Dec. 2, House Representative Trey Growdy (R-SC) asked what will stop Obama from not enforcing election laws considering his pattern of “prosecutorial discretion” of other standing laws.
During the same hearing, Michael Cannon, the Director of Health Policy Studies for the Cato Institute, said that Obama’s complete disregard for the Constitution could unfortunately lead to a revolt:

Obama is currently engaged in an unprecedented purge of our military meant to remove officers who won’t obey unconstitutional orders:

Pastor James David Manning broke down how Obama is a new variant of a dictator, one who uses economic and social policies rather than the military to cement his control:

“I think that we need to understand Obama in terms of modern dictatorship,” Manning said. “Generally when we think of dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, Lenin or others, we think about them using the military to deploy their policies and to keep people in control. Obama has found a way to use economic, racial and social policy as the military.”
“In other words, what Obama does with his policies of economics and racism, which is the undergirding of his presidency, and social issues which are anti-Christian and anti-God, many of them very communist and very Marxist, is his new army.”
Obama constantly violates the Constitution through executive orders:

How to get power over the entire planet is what's going on without igniting global war.

I understand that Alex Jones can be crazy at times but What Obama is trying to do is basically allow other presidents to follow his footsteps. I don't think that is right for us and that's just how I feel.

Republican are mad again that a Democrat is in power and are using random words like "Constitution" and "Dictatorship: and "Education:. Meanwhile the retarded bastard child of Rush Limbaugh, Alex Jones, creates a youtube account to vblog like it's a new thing, like it's a freaking thing to do, HOW ABOUT I STARE AT A FERAKING CAMERA AND BE FREAKING ANNOYING, YOU HEAR ME YOU YOUTUBERS, THAT CRAP IS ANNOYING LIKE FREAKING LET"SPLAY YA PRICKS. STOP RUINING THINGS.

He hasn't "vetoed" anything blowbackish, I don't see how comparing him to a dictatorship make sense. And Obamacare is not a basis of debate. It was voted on.

In other news it's a crazy snowday in Canada again. Wait, that's not news, that's like saying the sky is blue, or spiderpig, spiderpig, does whatever a spiderpig does, comma

Of course, it had to be infowars  Everything I have ever seen on this website has always been conspiracy theoryish and not backed up.

Also, presidents have been doing this with immigration for quite a long time. On multiple occasions we have allowed immigrants (in the millions) to stay and work. While I don't necessarily agree, this has been done. ObamaCare, which I think does some good but IMO they tried to do way too much at once, and I don't really agree with forcing people to buy health insurance, was voted on by Congress and then upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States, which is "conservative heavy" in its ideals (albeit by 1).

Like it or not, the President has the power to veto whatever they like. That's why the Senate has a check and balance in place called veto override where they can override a presidential veto with a certain amount of votes. We won't even get in to Executive Privilege.

And no, I'm not Democrat... nor am I Republican. I vote based on everything about the individual candidate. I'm pretty sure I voted for a few more Republicans than Democrats last election, and a few Independents.

Well, I'm not a republican nor a democrat. If Obama did what he promised us, then there wouldn't be a debate of he is a tyrant or not. Because he went against his word on pretty much every thing he promised.

It's not the government's job to make sure everyone is insured and they certainly don't have the authority under the Constitution to force anyone to buy healthcare.

Disclaimer: Canadian. However, I'm largely under the impression the `Commander in Chief` is unable to sign bills into law without the consent of the House and Senate. If Obama were to become a dictator, yes he could do exactly what he promised to do. However, getting blocked at every turn by effective clowning isn't grand; nor is he at fault for the actions of his democratically elected peers.

RE: the PBS article above: I'm pretty sure repealing `Obama Care` has passed the House 40+ times and died in the Senate. However, maybe it was just representatives holding votes, and it hasn't actually left the House.

I'm kind of surprised Alex Jones is still going. When he started heavily promoting foreign powdered food I would have expected him to die from malnutrition. Maybe he has since fallen back from that?

That's almost beside the point. He signed in the Monsanto Protection Act when he said that he would push towards GMO labeling. So on and so on and so on.

I'd have to agree, and it's one of the things I don't really like. I'm all for increasing the quality of health insurance and helping those get it that can't afford it (it'll be either through this or something like the Ohio H-Cap where the hospital pays for the service of someone whose eligible, which raises prices). I'm also for the preexisting condition clause of it. I think it's stupid to turn away people that have something that most of the time is completely out of their control. I have been turned away due to my psoriasis. It's not my fault that I have it, nor does it mysteriously go away. The mechanism that psoriasis is involved in can also lead to other things.

Basically, I don't mind making access easier via a marketplace type thing, not really all that against government subsidies for people that need it either, and I'm all for pre-existing conditions part of the law. I just wish they would dump the requirement for people to buy it. We dont need to force people in to it, if reform is done correctly people will get it.
