Cjhecked a few things, you will still be able to use hammer editor for CS:GO, as for mods that's another story, valve will be bringing mods over from CS:S to CS:GO (Gungame has been confirmed) as for the other mods we will have to wait and see -.-
  2. Aug 18, 2006
...? Valve supports the mod community. There is no reason to think GO will be any different than Source in this regard.
  3. Jan 11, 2011
But does it means we will have ZMOD too?
  4. Mar 12, 2008

Nope. GO will be the end of us.

Please read the entire thread before you post( which in this case was only two), top secret. You have been making a slew of unrelated/unnecessary posts lately.

Did he say that ZMOD wouldn't exist anymore? He said he DOESN'T, repeat: DOESN'T know if other mods will exist. I tell YOU to read the posts before replying.

Of course there will be a zombie mod, it might not be included with CS:GO like gun game but it will surely come out eventually.

I assume Tater's was being sarcastic and it fell on deaf ears. Ray's comment that Valve supports the modding community should have answered your question before you asked it.

This. Zombie Mod will exist in CS:GO at least to some extent. It may take a little while to develop, but it will happen. I want PF to have the first GO ZM servers.

O.o! How do you know Ray?

It is like building a new game. Classes have to be made and balanced, and that takes a while.

It's not drag-and-drop and play. You need to build it from the ground up and if they allow resources to be ported into GO then it should go quickly. I expect it to take within a couple months after GO releases.

Mhm. But the most important is that everyone wants to buy CS:GO! <3

    Common sense.

I usually on play zombie mod and zombie escape so if CS:GO doesn't have them, then there's no point in me buying it. Hopefully these will develop ASAP when GO comes out.

-Taters u really have to chill out. It really isn't your job to tell others whether their post is irrelevant or not. That's what a MOD is for.

This part of your post is irrelevant.

I, too, would like to see ZMGO on pF first.

    DAM IT!

    oops double post

LOL... who caught that so fast that i didn't even get a chance to edit it

In the post that I read it said that you won't be able to create new mods, Gungame was created changing only a few settings and that is being brought over by Valve, it's not being developed as it was the first time, I'm worried that ZM and ZE won't be carried over and won't be able to be redeveloped.

So let me get this straight. The post you read said the sequel to a game which has a massive mod community and enough mods to keep people playing for 8 years without getting bored is going to abandon the players who only play modded servers by not including some sort of mod support? The community backlash from such a thing would be tremendous.

I'll try to find it again, didn't bookmark it and a bug keeps deleting my browsing history after every session.

Edit: I'll look tomorrow, just noticed the time and I'm starting to fall asleep :/

There's a plugin interface on the client. There's one in Dota 2 as well.

Originally they had no intention of having dedicated servers for CS:GO, then something changed.
