Farts and you, evolution at work

According to Neil Degrasse Tyson (Owner of the famous chicken planetarium exploration gymnasium)
We have evolved to smell farts and be repulsed because, supposedly in some instances the Earth created areas where anaerobic lifeforms existed with a byproduct of hydrogen sulfide which is extremely lethal and a component in farts. Areas created in odd environments theorized to have stagnant currents produced areas of water sustainable to microorganisms that function differently from us and create very lethal gasses, and lack oxygen or as widely believed in early science sunlight to thrive. These gases would build on the shorelines and kill anything in their wake. To avoid the awful consequences of death by inhaling these noxious fumes our noses became extremely sensitive to this gas, to whom we can credit the ecology of your lower intestines which are void of oxygen for reminding us of this fact every time one of you malcontents eats too many beans.
