FPS Config Help

    SOLVED: cl_minmodels 1

    So I put a FPS config on a low spec laptop, and since i did that, the ingame custom models do not work. By custom models, i mean the zombies and humans. Zombies show up as regular terrorists, and anybody with a custom admin skin shows up as a default counter-terrorist. Here is the config i am using. Also, i do have allow custom from server set. I don't have the patience to try and figure it out, and i tried to google it, but couldn't find an answer.

    Probably because the custom models you are using don't support very low res or dx versions? Not positive but seems like it.

    Errr wait. Never mind. Move all your custom models and materials out, redownload them from the server and see if they work. Just to make sure there are no file conflicts.

        I attempted that. It was actually the last thing that i had tried. It redownloads everything, but still refuses to load any custom models. I have it running at 640x480 at the moment, just because it won't stick and i haven't gotten around to forcing it to 1440x900 or something yet.

        EDIT: Woah late reply. I'll try that out now. Thank you :razz:

        Try what pass said, that might work since it doesn't force the use of default models and allows custom server models.
