And have a great one, at that!
yeas. happey birthday.
Hehe. Much obliged!
I intend to. College is down, just have work to go.
Also, turned 20.
Got one moar year.
Time to set up that long-mead.
Happy birfday Claud!
Hell yeah you brew mead?!
Yeppers. I've been practicing with short-mead for my D&D crew until recently.
Yesterday, I started a long-mead for my 21st. Mostly from tradition.
A year and a day for it to ferment. Gonna be a good one.
man i gotta get some equipment for that.
there's a cherry mead recipe i wanna try, and yeah, it's a year long recipe too hah.
wat!? a year to brew a brew? i couldn't wait that long.
It's not too terribly difficult. At least equipment-wise, of course.
I've got a lot of ingredients for drinks/foods grown here.
What I'd been wanting to try with the short-mead is a slight caramel flavor. For fun.
Hehe. Yeah, I know the feeling. Partly, I'm wanting to use this as an experiment to try out a new recipe.
Otherwise, it's a big thing for family tradition.
oh interesting family tradition. what flavor is the long mead? and what consistency is mead? i personally have never been around it
I blame the Norse.
The flavor is...Interesting. If you've never had mead before, it's kinda variable.
Depending on how you make it, it could be either bitter, or sweet. It is, after all, made with Honey. So take that as you will.
Personally, I like a happy median.
Also, the only difference between short-mead or long-mead is the fermenting time.
Most people say that long-mead tastes better.
Happy bday sir, hope you have a good one!
