my laptop broke and is beyond repair... fuck my life
i am in a tight spot and i am not willing to above 1k for a new laptop... so muffinfuhrer said i should build one and building them being cheaper normally... that is what imma try to do...
BUT~ I am not that tech savvy and while i coulxd figure out how to put one together... the items i need for that is another story..

I found this page that claims that the parts are good and are cost effective and whatnot... http://www.mysuperpc.com/#Build A Computer Like My Super PC - Cost To Build A Computer - Harddrive

are these components good? are there better more cost effective ones out there? if so mind posting the links because i am lost with most of this shit...

can you guys help me with this or should i just go to bestbuy or newegg or whatever and buy a laptop/pc...

    Thanks in advance!!

This may be very outdated but you can see what most components will cost.

What a cute little chart

Do you need a laptop or can you get by with a desktop?

After much consideration of everything... a desktop will not work... A laptop is what I need...

Looking at that link you posted, it looks like a decent build. For pricing, it's all about where you look, how much is in stock, and how long your willing to wait. Something that might be $199.00 today might be $150.99 next week, could also be the opposite.

What do you need to do on your laptop? Word processing, CS, what else...

Hey guys I got a new laptop... WAIT, before you start complaining about my decision, lemme say that I got one that fits my needs, and that has a 2 week return policy... so i am not happy with this, i will return it and reevaluate... given my situation... I do believe that this is the best course of action...

Get this, it runs CSS worse (not by much) than my old one, but Supreme Commander and BF3 runs a hell of a lot better... I don't get it... but I am not complaining... I like it so far... and I have a desktop monitor that imma hook it up to in a bit... so all in all it fits my needs...

Different drivers run different game differently. I'm glad to hear that it all worked out
