How do you turn an internal hdd to external?

    Yes ma'am. I have this this Works great.

    All you need is a sata/power to the drive. Usually it's sata -> USB. So even a sata/power to usb cable would work, these cases just make it a tad more fancy.

    Probably not. Stick with a 3.5 if it's a desktop drive

      Sorry I didn't actually click the link, yeah as Seek said it won't work. I pulled an old laptop HDD for mine. You'll need a 3.5" enclosure.

      Just make sure you find one that comes with its cable, so you don't have to guess at the cable either. If you get one with a cable, just pop the hard drive in and close the case, then plug the cable into the hdd case and computer and should read like a USB stick/jump drive.

        Pretty much as said. There will be a adapter that will connect to the HDD and converts it from SATA to USB. Then close it up and plug in to PC.
