I'm going to be interviewed by one of the danish Tv stations about the hacking of facebook. dont really know why they would pick me,

Do you guys think i should accpet the offer?

i will not take part in any of the hacking, so i feel safe, but if the police take a look at my pc, they would find alot of stuff, more than enough to lock me up. :/

It will get you into the media, and lot of young talented hackers have been offered a swell job in the security by getting in the media. I am an example of this lol

    When in doubt, lay low.

Cautionary Side: Tell you the truth, I wouldn't risk your worries and your "secrets" for the fifteen minutes of fame.

"High risk", high reward: OR. . .you can follow slish's advice. And wouldn't the police need a warrant anyways to search your PC?

Could be a sting which would make this self incrimination and perfectly prosecutable. Not the first time this has happened either. Think: "To Catch a Predator" but in your case: "To Catch a Hacker".

Clean up your computer and transfer everything (suspicious?) to the other hard drive or just buy another computer for that matter. Simple solution

Computer forensics can recover anything not 'shredded' on a computer. And even then, you can get fairly decent partial recoveries of files deleted even a fair while back.

Reason I know all this is because I did a 2 year internship with a computer forensics company back when I was first considering working in the field.

Going offtopic here but: You should watch the movie "The Social Network", it's about how Facebook was made and created. Based on the 'true' story.
