      I see some maps that are pretty f**king massive still on this list....

      What about ocx_orly? Or hotline_miami?

              They really aren't that large. Please add these maps for me I've been donator for a long time, and I really don't like this. I just want to be able to nominate maps that I like. :frown:

                I feel for you Gaba. <3 it's not so much of how large they are. I don't think Desperadoes is very large either but maps like Duked are very spread out. It takes a long time to get from one spot to another like the secret teleport room. Especially if the small doorway is blocked by a vendor in the beginning of the round. More compact maps have a better chance of making the list.

                I'm sure most people have a few favorites that won't show up on the list, I know I do. I kinda think that's a good thing though, players complain all the time about the same maps being played over and over, it might be nice to have a slightly different set on this list.

                I suppose desperados wouldn't be too bad, along with size and depth, I was somewhat factoring in maps that have numerous secrets that make it harder on the random joiners in those odd hours, which is why I had not opted for desperados from the beginning.

                  i vote for zm_space_base_v3_2 I personally love this map and i think it would be good for low populations.

                  The bulk of sky_prison's size is empty space and there are teleports and other methods of getting around the map quickly, this combined with the most commonly caded/camped spots being in the most high trafficked areas make it work quite well with a low population. Endless is another good example of this, while it's dimensions make it quite large, the layout and travel methods make it quite easy to spot humans and make it to just about anywhere in little time.

                    Could we include the active spectators (non AFK) when the number of players are counted for which maplist to be active? Like when it's a generally disliked map on, people move to spectate to chat and the number of active players falls back to the point where the low population maplist is active, which has not too many popular or played maps, so it would kill the server more.

                      This map is very cade heavy. It wouldn't do well with low pops as you will usually start out with between 1-3 zombies.

                      I'll give this a try.

                      There aren't enough zombies for this map.

                      This map is too risky at this point in time.

                        31 maps isn't that bad for low pop. It's still 31 games to play.

                        Think I gotta bump this. Currently there are 10 people playing, and 11 spectators. The current nominate list is the full list. I think it may only need to count non-spectators and only active players, or however we currently have it set to include spectators needs to be adjusted somehow.

                        Edit: Current population: 17, Current spectators: 10, current players: 7. Nom list and rotation still the normal one. So I don't know if the dynamic map cycle is just not working at the moment or if the total pop isn't low enough.
