So, I've been seeing a lot of mediafire/rapidshit/whatever links being thrown around to host files.

A while back I bought internet space with this legit company and they give me unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth.

I've made a simple upload page that anybody can use to upload any kind of file and retain the original filename.
You can even make a link to the direct download.

Feel free to use my data storage instead of the shitty free services on the web.

    www.minecraftmaps.info

If you want mass file storage I can set you up with an ftp account

Yes. I use it and it's alot easier than anything else I've previously used. (But it looks ugly.)

But the reason I'm posting is cause I had troubles the first time cause I didn't know how to get around it. So here. A little tut:

www.minecraftmaps.info is where you upload the file. One by one.

    www.minecraftmaps.info/uploads/[File Name]

Another thing is their is no webpage. It's a pop up that asks for confirmation on the download.

Hopefully this will help others. Or am I just retarded?

XtraFile is the best free file host script

    Demo link: http://xtrafile.com/demo/

You can costomize theme if you know css and html.

I accept the following because I have premium for them.
    Filesonic, Fileserve, Hotfile.
Mediafire is nice since they don't have a retarded wait time as well.

    Not saying I won't accept your hosting lol;

Your site isn't very safe (.php file upload went through). I'd look for a new upload script unless you want people fucking up your shit. You have 500 errors everywhere so presuming these were globally fixed one could probably access the php file they uploaded and that would be baaaad.

Personally if I just need to up a quick file to share with someone I'll just use something like sendspace...

I often use Toofiles (www.toofiles.com) for keeping my favorite pics and video. Heard of it? It's also free and with large space.
