Grand total comes to 757 minus the dvd drive I'm looking at.
Do you plan on overclocking? The i5-2500k is unlocked for that, but you can save 10 dollars if you go with the regular i5-2500. Lol not that big of a deal I guess. I'm skeptical about the 6870, but overall looks pretty good.
He plans on working with me on that.
The card is good if I plan on doubling up in the future with a better PSU.
correct and correct
Your hard drive, is only SATA 3gb/s....but your mobo supports 6gb/s...get a different hard drive, might as well use the full potential of ur hard drive.
And the gfx card is fine.
Do you really need to buy a new monitor?
Considering mine is a Gateway that maxes at 1280 x 1024 and is 17 inch, I do.
That price for the new one is too good to pass up.
Plus 1 on this get this and call it a day!
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD10EALX 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
I wish I had a computer that was as good as that. I'm stuck with poo.
Bet it can't be worse than the one I have right now!
6870 is a fantastic card, I've never had any issues with it and might eventually get a second one until the 7xxx series hits.
Good! Because it is paid for!
I'm only sad that I have no pink led lights.
I know most might go against this, but if you are going to use that one card for a while it would be easier to just upgrade to a new card down the road, in 2-3 years. You can get a lot out of a card in time length if you don't have to have complete eye candy on games. It's just nice to have is all.
Congrats on your new PC! I love Lian-Li cases! lol :turned:
Why didn't you get a Dell?!
Locking, sadly. :locked:
