VBC could be the Visual Basic Compiler. I don't know why NOD32 would flag it unless something you downloaded or your copy WiN 8 is not legit and it changed it to mask a possible virus. You could go in safe mode and delete it yourself but again do this at your discretion because if it ended up that NOD32 was complaining for no reason and you end up nuking your OS then you have to re-install (or get a copy the file from the OS install CD)

Again do this at your discretion. I would get a legit copy of WIN8 (that you already own I would hope) and do a good format if it ends up VBC is a actual virus.

Did you run a scan in safe mode?

If it comes to the worst, back up your important/valuable data and do a factory restore.

Oh shit. Now I really hate everything about 8 lol.
I hear lots of good things about ESET (NOD32) but try a different anti-virus such as Malwarebytes.

If you're like me and don't even want to bother, restore/re-install the OS lol. CSS is, like, the only thing that takes forever to install but it is worth the hassle compared to dealing with a possible virus.

windows key + r -> msconfig -> boot tab -> under boot options check safe boot -> hit ok -> reboot

Then to boot normally just uncheck safe boot. There's other ways to boot into safe mode with win8 but that's a guaranteed method.

              Two problems, it's NOD32, and you're using Windows 8.

But did you try the safe boot with the scan?

Thanks Brian & Bender, I learned something new.

                  PS:

Before asking on a gaming forum how to fix your pc you should simply google the issue first, it returned about 5 results thats were directly relevant to your issue.

How is it flickering? If it shows a popup on the bottom right corner or if a section is orange that should be fine in safe mode and many things may not start. If it's flickering as in the screen is flashing you may have other issues.

Delete file, get your copy of WIN8 and copy the VBC.exe from that install disk/image to the same path of presume virused VBC.exe

I can't tell why it's doing that. Just ignore it and delete that file. Restart your PC and see if it comes back. If it does re-appear it must be something else you have running that may be copying that file there. best thing at that point do a re-format. I don't know how much I can offer since it's deleting a file or reformatting not much other option exist.

Check @Ghost links seem like the user was able to remove vbc.exe cleanly. Don't dismiss his post just because he is a ghost (they do exist in real life).

Also porn is bad don't expect anything good to come out of it.
