Hey guys, made a thread in the past about picking up some new parts.. well that kinda fell down the drain however now I will have a budget around 400-430$ USD.

Parts picked out so far :

    Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837

    CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115234

    CPU Fan - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

    Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145346

o far that has me at 415$ and some change. I'm thinking about picking up a fan for the side of my case

It currently runs a 120MM Rear Fan, 140MM Front Fan and a 140MM Top Fan.

Was wondering your guys' opinions on a side-fan?

Why not pay $20 and get the i5-3570k as opposed to what you picked out? Makes for easier OC'ing in the future.

Also note that the 3570k also has a boost clock to 3.8 ghz

More-so there to save money, but I can look into upgrading.

This was mores- a thread to try and get ideas for a side-case fan :shutmouth:

3470 CPU never goes on sale. 3570k I always see for $199.99, and sometimes with some $20 promo card. I'd never settle for a 3470, that's just a disgrace and middle finger right to your computer.

I wouldn't touch the 3470, spend the extra $20 and get a 3570k, you won't regret it. If you're looking for cheap go with an i3-3220 or perhaps even an AMD build.
