    I wasn't sure if I should put this in WIP or Map Requests so I'll just leave this here.

    Anyway, this map is based around a highrise sniping ledge or several cade spots located all around the map. I've gotten quite a few things finished, but I want to have PlagueFest test this map before I continue further.

    Things I have planned to add:
    - A couple small, 2-person cade spots.
    - Add a keypad and other protections around the secret gun.

    Suggestions made by others:
    - Add lights.
    - Make tactical spots.
    - Add a glass box on top of the cement pillar.

      I have to agree with Grudge. This map looks like a 1.6 map :crying:

      Nice concept, dont see too many actual tactical spots though...

      He's just new to mapping, 'Tactical' isn't something we really need all that much right now. I realize you picked it up pretty fast, but not everyone is as great as you. <3

      Otherwise, yes, lighting. If you like, here is a compilation of all (good) YouTube videos about Hammer. I suggest watching 3KliksPhilip's videos.

      Not bad for a start.

      I agree with the tactical comment though. You have some defensive spot, but it's more fun to give spots that require teamwork to defend.
      Anyhow, keep at it and good job.

        I greatly appreciate constructive criticism. Btw, does anyone care to explain what a cubemap is? :S. I'll continue working on it this weekend and hopefully finish most things completed by Saturday (tomorrow) night.

        Cubemap as far as i know gives your map a more realistic look. It will give some textures that reflection look! Use it imo :razz:
