  6. Apr 9, 2007
If your referring to the big black block, It is.
  7. Sep 26, 2007
Yes the graphics card is a beast, whole length of the case.

I may end up changing out the motherboard, i'm not liking the performance its giving me.
  8. Jul 16, 2008
WOW  that must be expensive
  9. Sep 26, 2007
You funny phantom....na not very expensive about 450...Just your standard gtx280....I thought about the 4870x2 but it's like 550 and considering I Play CSS and COD4 and Warcraft, I couldn't justify the price.

    T7300 (2.0 GhZ 4MB L2 cache)
    2 GB Ram
    8600M GT

Gets me decent FPS, and works great for autoCAD/solidworks for school.

just let me know ck. And yes, I built it myself.

    OK, here's mine:

    Case: Antec 900
    PSU: Antec NeoPower 650W
    Mobo: Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66 (waiting till I get LC to overclock)
CPU cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
    RAM: OCZ Platinum Rev 2 4GB DDR2 1066
VGA: EVGA 9800 GTX+ SC edition
HDD: WD Caviar 500GB SATA 7200rpm
    Optical: Samsung Super Writemaster 20X DVD-R w/LightScribe
Monitor: Acer AL2216W 22" widescreen LCD
    Keyboard: Logitech G11
    Mouse: Microsoft Sidewinder
Speakers: Creative 4.1 channel speaker system (dunno what model or whatever; my uncle gave 'em to me because he never really used them)
And I hope to get a LC system pretty soon.

I fixed up the mess of cables (for the most part) and added a side fan.
And I just realized that, including the little PCI slot Cyclone blower fan, my case alone has 6 fans. With CPU, VGA, and PSU, it brings the total to 9  . And yet, it's surprisingly quiet.

He's talking about the case, if I'm not mistaken.

hey SchwarzGeist i have that same case

the best part is the huge fan on top of the case.
keeps things cool for me. =o

with that case ive got the following

    thermaltake 750w
pentium core 2 duo 3.0 ghz
    4gb of ram
    Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
    windows vista home 64 bit
    2 hard drives
    -250gb~everyday use

built this puppy about 6 months ago so i kinda forgot any other details.
  15. Jan 7, 2009
Yeah, I could sit behind the case with my head over the 200mm and keep cool during summer XD.
But seriously, I've got so much air going through the thing that when it comes out it actually IS cool. That's what I fucking love about it.

That reminds me, I have to stop by MicroCenter and pick up another filter for the side...

That 900 is looking a bit dusty around those turbines of fans.I used to have that case.It was a great case.I want the 1200 now!
  17. Jan 7, 2009
Yeah, I have to take the vacuum and the air can (stocking stuffer!) to it.
Same... it has really nice fan filters...

Maybe I'll just steal 'em off the case on display next time I'm at MicroCenter... :ninja:

I don't think anybody'd miss them, do you?
