Region Protection Requests

Discussion in Minecraft started by Dharkk, Dec 6, 2011

This is the thread to post in to request a region protection. I’ll automatically assume the poster is the owner the region needs to be assigned to. Posting someone else’s area will result in a temporary ban across all pF servers for griefing, unless you have permission from the owner of the area.

    Region Request Guidelines

    • Post your coordinates and who you want to be an owner/member
    • Post the region name that you wish
    • May have a greeting and farewell message if you wish *must follow pF guidelines*
    • Only flags available are: use, entry
    • Only main structures and dwellings will be protected, not mines

Use either allows people to use objects in your region, or denies usage. The entry flag denies entry in to the region.

Please post in the following way, leave out those that don’t apply:

    Area Name:
  2. Feb 1, 2011
    Name: dillinger
Area Name: the whole fuckin server
    Coordinates: (0, 0) to (3200, 3200)
    Members: dillinger
    Owners: dillinger
    Greeting: toke it up bro
    Farewell: toke it up bro

    please REDEFINE my region from:

    lower cuboid point:

    to upper point:

this means from bedrock to sky

    thank you

Won't do bedrock to sky, but will do an area around any structures that are built by people.

    Name: Vadleon
    Area Name: Vadleon's_Complex (note underscore)
    Coordinates: x,y,z = (200, 34, 24) to (118, 72, -84)
Members: Vadleon, Akademikz, dillingeryo, Chakruakid, StepUp3d (Conker's name I think), Friea, and others I need to check names for
    Owners: Vadleon
Greeting: Welcome to Vadleon's Home and Building Complex!
Farewell: Come visit later or contact Vad for supplies if you wish!

My zone is somewhat complicated, as follows:
    - Some areas can be accessed, used, and changed by people (their rooms).
    - Some areas people can access and use, but not change (halls, enchantment room, brewery, animal farms, wheat farm mechanisms).
    - Some areas are only accessed, used, or changed by me (everything else?).

I provide such a large area and Y coords because my home is underground atm. I can also allow people's access into areas by door protections, so I don't believe 'entry' protections are necessary for my zone.

I know this will be a tall order, and we can discuss this more in detail on Mumble when we're both on MC. Additional people may also be added to my complex should they choose to move in. I also can't guarantee that my underground dimensions will remain the same as I reshape areas in preparation for my castle + Skybridge Hub. Of course as admin you will have access to all private doors to look around.

Edit: Recheck coordinates. I derped and switched the Y and Z by accident.
Edit2: Tweaked coordinates a bit due to some underground expansion.

just do it, i build in the future

  9. Jan 12, 2011
I've actually asked him in Mumble about future projects (in my instance, the Skybridge and its Hub stations) and he'll only protect existing structures. Future builds can be unpredictable and he's quite right on that. If it's really large, talk to him about protecting sections of it as it's built.

That's a little rude, people might be digging and find an indestructible wall underground.

    Name: Angel & Johnny
    Area Name:
    Coordinates: x,y,z = (500, 55, 32) to (418, 55, -68)

The area is a series of buildings separated from each other. The main building goes all the way to the top so can we have the whole area protected from that y coordinate to the sky of the map or do you need specific coordinates for the building only?

    Members: noir009, xaura95
    Owners: noir009, xaura95
    Greeting: Welcome to Johnny's & Angel's house.
    Farewell: Later! :3
    Flags: use

Haven't decided for an area name yet, hopefully you can change that later?

EDIT: Is there a way to disable use of tools in a specific area within those coordinates (sheep farm)?
  12. Jan 12, 2011
A thought occurs: While I don't have their coordinates right now, could you protect various dungeons and mob spawners that I've discovered? And offer the same to other players? That way we don't have random spawner griefing, like what happened in the Nether.

Edit: If so, I'll obviously post coordinates so you don't go mad hunting.

Now that I've gotten stuff done today I'll try to get to some of these actual requests
  17. Apr 9, 2007
Thanks! Let me know the coords.
  18. Oct 10, 2010
so you are out of room?

or why disallow bedrock to sky?

the map is endless (until you dont have a border plugin installed)

there is no clear reason to reject my request
  19. Jan 12, 2011
There is an established border somewhere around the 3000's, if I recall. While I know this is still huge, most of us really haven't left the area around spawn. That's also why we can't claim large tracts of land until we've built on it.

    lol it isnt even large
