Why?

There's 2 Zelda maps...

Never seen it happen.

Depends on the night really. If there are about 20-25 people playing, I'll see some leave and the server gets a bit more dead. When there are way more people on, it usually stays consistent I feel.

What I've drawn from this:
Player count doesn't appear to change much, but out of 21 instances, 15 were rtv'd, 2 of which occurred with only 1 rtv vote and 5 or less players, so we'll throw out those instances, giving us 19 instances where 13 of them were RTV'd. That leaves us with 6 instances out of 19 where the map hasn't been successfully RTV'd. That's not a great record as far as popularity goes even if it doesn't appear to be killing the server player count wise. It seems players are more likely to tolerate this map than they are to enjoy it.

I am personally one of the people that really like it. I do think it is more exciting if an admin like me noclip and unlock the item room.

Where's this data from?

Deto's semi-new map stats plugin. Doesn't look like he's added it to Gitlab yet (pinged him about it just now). We haven't done anything with the data yet as we're waiting to obtain enough recorded instances to draw conclusions from. What I posted is just what the data is telling us so far.

Ah, bummer. Was hoping this was the db we started years ago.

I think it just gets fun if it stays on the small part and the item room is open tbh, other than that its pretty boring.

I think this map is good and that's it just not fully appreciated. There are way worse maps on the server. I made a thread on it a while ago and no one posted much
I take back what I said about maps like gigabite's and think we should start over and review some maps more that need trashing. I think we should add back some old classics too, but some might need some patching from mappers to be made up to date or remove some illegal spots for pF sake. Maybe we could give some mappers some time or incentive to do this even though they get free donor already if that isn't enough.
