There was a Galaxy S 4 thread, and since I'm crazy with my phone upgrading I now have a Galaxy S 5, I'm making this Galaxy S 5 thread  So far I'm loving it, although I believe the boot-loader on this one is pretty secure. It's so smooth and TouchWiz has been changed so much I might not even care though.

So is T-Mobile's... but gross. I'm guessing there will either be an exploit found or Safestrap will be used.

Traded the S 4 in lol

My battery has been killer, no idea what she has installed or why that might be the case. It's been lasting by far the longest out of all of my phones and this is before any rooting or ROMing.

This is another nifty little feature called one-handed operation:

Agreed. I've seen stock s5's get 5+ hours of screen on time.

You broke bastards. Note or GTFO. Do I absolutely NEED the s-pen? No. I can say I have one which is the point then whip it out and make people jealous.

      No srs, need details.

I see there's no benchmark against the GNex.

No idea of what the GNex specs are but I'll run some of the others to see if there is a comparison.

      @rxn I'll post the S 5 specs later.

Its not a huge upgrade over a s4. But decent enough for sure.

It certainly feels a lot faster, but some of that might just be TouchWiz improvements. This is performing like the S 4 did on AOSP.

I'm thinking its more due to the less bloat and lighter feel of touchwiz. But it very well might be hardware.

Comparison time!! All processors are quad. PPI Differs a bit when it comes to the S5, although I was messing with one next to my S4 and I really didn't notice any difference.

      AT&T S4:

      Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, 1.9ghz, Krait 300 , Focal length: 31mm, Sensor: 1/3.06"

      Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.5ghz, Krait 400
      Graphics: Adreno 330
      Camera: 16MP, F2.2 aperture, 3840x2160 (4K) recording, Sensor: 1/2.6"

As far as a hardware comparison between the S4 and S5, apparently the Snapdragon 800 is supposed to bring 75% more computing power and the Adreno is supposed to double graphical compute performance.

No no, I read the specs. I'm talking about a detailed user review.
