Selling my Desktop

Hello everyone, I am selling my gaming desktop simply because I am going more mobile and won't be at the house very much. (looks like parents getting separated)

Make me your best offer, or trade me for your laptop if you would like. I'm looking for a laptop with a quad core processor, 4GB ram, and pretty good graphics card. (At least a radeon 5850 or 6850 or above)

Here are the specs on the desktop I'm selling:

-Gigabyte DDR2 AM2+/AM3 Motherboard (Pretty good mobo, only downfall is that its DDR2)
-Phenom II 955 3.2ghz (I have it clocked at 4ghz at the moment, but I can set it back down to stock if you wish)
-6GB Samsung DDR2 800mhz Ram (Can be overclocked to 1300mhz)
-XFX Radeon 6850 (Can be flashed to 6870 if you want me to)
    -Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Case
-Corsair H50 Liquid Cooling (I will also include the stock fan that came with the processor as well, even install it for you free)
    -Ultra 550Watt Lifetime Power Supply
-Intel 320 SSD 120GB Hard Drive (This is a $250 hard drive! I use it for operating system, this allows the PC to boot and be ready to play games in 20 seconds from when I hit the power button. It's SUPER fast)
-Western Digital Velociraptor 10k RPM 300GB Hard Drive (I use this for all my steam games and important videos)
-Western Digital Caviar Blue 7200 RPM 500GB Hard Drive (I use this for everything else)
-Acer 27 inch full LED monitor (This thing was $300 and its only about 2 weeks old!)
-I will also include two extra stock fans if you want to install them

This shows a good image of how big the monitor is...It's an awesome one too!

Here is the tower with the side panel off

Here's a picture of the guts

Intel 320 120GB SSD - I payed $247 at TigerDirect for this drive

    Western Digital Velociraptor

Graphics card...this thing plays any game at 60fps+ (Except Crysis where I get 35-50fps on max)

    Fan on top

Power Supply, its mounted at bottom which I actually like a lot better than mounted at top.

Buying this desktop brand new would be around $2500 and its only around 3 months old except for the monitor, SSD, and Velociraptor, which are around 2 weeks old

This PC runs at 100 degrees F and around 125 F under full load

Make me an offer or trade me your laptop!

    I hope I'm allowed to post this....lol

Hmm I might want it lol how much would you actually WANT for it.
  3. Mar 3, 2010
    Make me an offer lol
  4. May 15, 2011
    This is so damn tempting...

But I have no clue if I'll be able to get the exact laptop you are looking for.

If you could link to a Laptop that you would like I can see what I can do.

Although no guarantees since I'm not actually paying for it.

    Ya Relatives!

Uhm.. Well it seems to be in good working condition, but I'm taking a shot in the dark here. Let me call my buddy he's an expert with this kind of stuff, I'm gonna get him down here and we'll see where we go from there.

Something like this or better: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=576146&CatId=4938

It doesn't have to be Asus, just something with those specs. I don't have to have an i7, just need a quad core with at least 4GB ram. The video card must be pretty good thought like a 460M, or 6850M.

The DDR2 RAM is a big turn off lol. I recommend upgrading to a DDR3 RAM if you can.
  8. Mar 3, 2010
The DDR2 isn't that bad as you think. I could upgrade it to DDR3, but keep in mind the PC has a $250 SSD, $300 Monitor, $200 Video Card, $150 Processor, $85 liquid cooling.....It adds up to a huge savings.

    Prices get drop over time.

Depends on the current condition and what's included for the USED price.

CPU: $120 NEW. So its around $100ish used.
GPU: $170ish NEW. So around $120-150 used.
SSD: $220-$240 New. So its around $180 used.
CPU Cooler: $77 NEW. So around $50 used.

I can keep going lol. Just giving the actual/real price for used items.
  14. Mar 3, 2010
It's "Like New" Still, adding up with used is a savings. I got around $1100 total going at used price.
  15. May 27, 2008
I'm gonna need to be able to make some profit off of it.
