    Guys,

Here is one website I use when downloading applications so I know that I will never get those stupid ad-ware you dont want
(Mcafe security or Norton antivirus when trying to download firefox or adobe)

This site will allow you to get the direct installer, I am sure it will come in handy for a lot of you!

I just don't use any of that lol. Windows defender for me. That plus ccleaner and malwarebytes pro work just fine.

      Thanks for the link though.

It is a 3rd party software downloader but they only offer .exe. No addware, used in a medical company to update all software without the hassle of possible malware of viruses

Combofix = ultimate virus killer. Run Malwarebyts + Combofix (Must get from BleepingComputers) and I have never had issues with Viruses. Combo fix laughed at FBI Virus / CryptoLock

It's basically a great tool to use when you wipe a PC or build a new one. That was always my most hated part of building one, having to re-install all of the crucial programs and forgetting some.

I haven't used antivirus in over 2 years.... lol. Only thing i have installed in Malwarebytes to do the odd scan if i feel like i've fucked up. But i'm really good with not getting viruses/malware/etc.

I've gotten a few rootkits from my brother because he's a dumbass. It infected me and him, but my dad was lucky and didn't get his computer infected. Another one i got is still a mystery to me. I think it was the Zero Access rootkit, but i can't remember. But nobody knows where it comes from. I had just formatted my computer a couple weeks before, and hadn't done any silly searching on the interwebs, and i somehow got it. Just did my regular re-downloading of crucial applications, browse facebook, and the pF website. Zero Access rootkit is a nasty one.

TL;DR, i don't get viruses. Just rootkits which 99% of the time can't be removed or detected.
