Some gaybop took control of my steam acc so if I msg you, it is not me. I already submited a ticket so it is only a matter of time before I get it back.

I will post here again once it is returned to me by my palz at steam.

better hope he doesn't use a hack while he's on it

that is one of my concerns, but steam would know it wasn't me and should reverse a VAC ban.
  4. Mar 16, 2008
They don't reverse steam bans ever, check their forums if you don't believe me :/

in that case, the following picture is appropriate in describing my current thoughts.

VALVe will not unVAC your account if your account was phished/hacked then VACed. It's in their EULA and on their FAQ page.

so how did you give him your password? did he promise you nude pictures, or promises of little boys with sugar plums dancing around...?

I checked the steam community before I logged in. Games were not played.
  15. Mar 16, 2008
that's good, VAC takes 2-6 months to catch up with bans though. just letting you know

    thanks for the heads up.

well my account wasn't logged in after it was taken from me. so games were not played =O
if you are in offline mode and play games, it will show that you have logged on.

either way, there is no changing what happened.

I doubt you'd be flagged this quickly anyways. Most of the time, these are sold. In a day? I doubt they would've gotten through their list of 100s of accounts.

Also, for the lols of it:

A link can't steal your user/password, unless you yourself enter it.

A downloaded exe, however has a very high chance of stealing your password. It can be stolen if you save it, or if you're keylogged, when you enter it.

I extremely recommend a scanning of your pc with an ONLINE anti-virus. An anti-virus on your PC can be hijacked and listen to a virus instead of its database (yay!). If nothing is detected, keep a close eye on your running processes and shit. I'd recommend wireshark for this, but you need to be really good with it to do pretty much anything with it.
