    What are everyone's thoughts on this? I just read a few articles about it, and I'm unsure as to what to think of it. So, I'm curious if you guys have opinions on it.

    God why is everyone so scared of a so called "blackhole" being made i think its pointless beind scared and any way they spent 30years planning this only to use it for 10. and anyway its happend this morning im british so its hapend at 8 o'clock for me and there an hour ahead in switzerland so its happend at 9 o'clock but it is a break through in science history i think

    oh its that thing where they recreate the big bang

    Edit- if it makes a black hole i will be pissed because i haven't done much in my life yet O_o
    but i don't care but if it is a black hole that we can control it will be a break thru in science

    Fortunately for anyone that thinks it's going to end the world, the LHC has been "turned off" until April of 2009. :wacko:
