I'm found of gambling and play in online casinos quite often. One of my favorite casino is here [link removed] . They give great bonuses and I've already won a few times already! That's the easiest way to get some extra cash fast.

I now play several games simultaneously. My favorite games are Tanks, Witches, DotA and God of War. They have good graphics and an interesting plot.

Every time I get on there is literally no one. Is there a new server or something in the past 2-3 months that I don't know about.

Real life, css dying, and other pop games like classic wow and borderlands 3 are the buzz right now. When cyberpunk comes, RIP.

We tried csgo but couldn't get a consistent player base [regulars] tie that in with ZM not being as fun as css ZM but ppl got bored, grew up or gone. We all met a lot of people over the years and some formed great bonds [see of discord] or the few who still have hopped on ZM occasionally.

We lost the ZE battle in csgo due to our roots just being so overwhelmed with irl [dedicated programmers typically have very busy hours and school so plus loss of interest and the way political speech works today, people wanna be cruel or funny by saying racist and trolling which lead to community being kind of shit imo, except for select few and the faithful admins who kept trying their best to play.

Anther thing [which I could go on and on about, but I'll be brief], people like competitive match making now and skins to show off more than playing. That's why I was always into PF because we didn't have all the crazy out of theme kawaii bs.

The roots also just can't hand over the keys to a self proclaimed coder who can fix everything. Advertising and events and consistent play [getting regulars] is way to go.

I haven't played much lately due to IRL and other games / tv, but it is natural, I mean ppl been playing on and off for a decade now which in itself is a great accomplishment.

Maybe there will be another big push for a transfer but it's going to take a lot of effort which a lot of us have become uninterested/ demotivated but we'll see.

We going down to the last minute and ppl connected on discord will be good buds forever whether it's their own private discord or pfs discord.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Shout out to everyone for joining the server and hopefully leaving with a nice memory or group of friends.

      ur.

Definitely a good point. I took some programming classes and use it in my career although I'm far more hardware oriented... tried managing a server at another community, and it was a lot more challenging than I had thought. I complained over and over again, and was often very frustrated by crude responses from Kyle on some topics. I found myself later browsing through forums and admiring his work. I don't know enough about him as a person except from unfortunate PMs and poorly worded posts/threads (it's not too great given the current perspective), but there's no denying he's a talented individual. What I saw from others elsewhere seemed more like tribal knowledge and hard-coding; brute force to just barely make it work and very sensitive to updates. People always want more and complain when it doesn't come or takes too long; however: it looks to me the consequences are worse when delivering unstable or incomplete work, and the leadership (politicians) wherever that may be will spend more time pointing fingers and throwing each other under the bus seeding a toxic environment.

You guys did a good job. I think it lasted as long as it could.

My playtime started to drop right after I graduated high school. Probably around 2012. I tried to get back in around 2014, but same thing happened as before. Life got in the way. Now I’m here in 2019, and I haven’t had an actual personal computer in almost 3 years. Honestly, I never stopped enjoying playing PF’s zm servers, it’s just that too much shit has happened in my life over the past 8 years. Moved 7 times, got divorced and then married my actual soulmate, death in the family, discovery of my wife’s chronic illness, death of our dog, 6 different jobs, losing my car 3 times. None of those in any particular order, but I’m sure I missed something. Life is getting better for us, but there’s still issues. I would love to play, but don’t have a dedicated pc to use and probably won’t for another year or two. I miss the fun I had on the server when I started playing, back when I was only about 12 or 13 in 2007.

EDIT: Looks like I was wrong about when I first started playing. Found an old thread about how everyone got into Plaguefest.
How did you end up in pF?

The amount of energy and time it takes to get more servers, and other games going considering everyone has real life things going on I gotta say probably isn't worth it anymore. Everyone works, or has families, or doesn't want to spend all their time playing games and working on a server. The days of community oriented games and servers is pretty dead. The fact that people still play CSS is amazing, no one can keep playing the same game forever.

I could only play Firewall so many times before I wanted to kill myself.

              What is this mod?

edit: I thought about it and reloaded about 4 times... kept thinking of some shitty thing to say and such but ultimately...

This community has been one of the best things I was lucky enough to enjoy. There are so many memories that will never leave my mind.

              Thank You.
