I don't know if all of these suggestions are doable. Grenades Problems: - You sometimes spawn without being able to buy a one, saying you already did (I'm not talking about buying one, killing yourself then buying a new one. I've spawned many times without being able to buy one from the start). - Standing on grenades while already having one sometimes counts toward the 3 grenade limit you're allowed to have. - Throwing a grenade in a bunch of humans slows them down (due to the flames around the grenade) and laggs the server (depending on the amount of humans the grenade hits). Fix: Revert them to how they used to work (before the most recent server update), have it count how many grenades you have thrown rather than picked up and bought. Remove/nullify(?) the flames radius on a grenade while in air. 'Overplayed' maps & nominations Problems: - Skyrim, Mako Reactor, Paranoid, Predator and the occasional Minas Tirith are maps that usually get extended to the fullest every time they're played. There's a lot of people out there that just wants to escape from zombies without all the extra items, modes etc. They aren't really ideal for people new to the mod, I think a bit more variaton on the server would be better in the long run. - The map nomination system have been complained about probably more than enough at this point. People with fast computers usually get the first spot which in most cases ends up being the next map (unless someone spams mic or chat to vote for x). Fix: Increase the recently played maps by 2-4 and randomize map vote list for everyone for a more accurate voting result. Stacking, button griefing & ignored bullets Problems: - As seen on Mako Reactor, it's possible to stay inside a zombie that isn't trying to infect you in order to not being able to get infected by other zombies as they stab the zombie inside the human rather than the human. 'Stacking' like this is mostly used to delay rounds. - When someone stands just infront of a button that needs to be pressed in order to progress, the game thinks you're pressing E on that player rather than the button, the player has to move. - Bullets get ignored when shooting through other people - as seen on Paper Escaper & Isla nublar where if a bunch of humans go through the vents and tries to shoot open the exit, it won't break. - (Minas Tirith only) Appreciated by many, Minas is a great map but comes with trolls that loves to use barricades in order to get as many people killed as possible. Fix: Completely ignore teamates when stabbing/shooting or pressing +use, this would solve all 3 issues. (Minas Tirith only) A plugin that allows admins to see when players presses buttons in chat (as seen on i3D and Sonakis ZE server). Visibility & bullet sounds Problems: - On maps with narrow paths and edges it can be hard to see the zombies/path due to the amount of humans blocking the sight (voodoo islands vents, going up/down the pipes on Mako for example). - The sound of 40+ guns fireing can get pretty loud, you can't really hear people on the mic unless you move out of the area with all guns. Fix: A plugin that lets you set transparency (50-100%?) on humans and lets you mute the sounds of guns fireing (as seen on Hellz ZE server). Perks for regulars? I'm not too sure about this one, but how about a cosmetic perk such as a skin for players with x amount of hours logged on the server? This would encourage new people to play more on the server.
