    Sometimes the future seems so bleak, that it is almost easier to ignore. I am quite sure that most of the inhabitants of this planet are doing just that. The future is global warming, over population, terror, and pollution. We can all remember the feeling of horror when first reading "1984", the prickling of the skin when we first learned of Big Brother. Movies depict the future paint, for the most part, an equally chilling outcome for humans, as does the last shred of human decency. Dec 24, 2010
