i am having a conversation with friends on your zombie plague fest server and he mutes me.
maybe 3-5 mins later he un mutes me everyone is like wtf unmute him but he didnt listen i didnt do anything to him
im just talking with my friend about some politics and other things and he just mutes me and its pissing me off idk why he hates me
i tried to get to a good start with him and start over but he just said no. i don't know what to do so im coming to you guys

I wasn't there so I can't really comment, but I have muted people for having non-stop conversations before.

The game chat is to talk with people in the game about the game, if you're only chatting with one person then you're clogging it up for everyone else, use steam friends chat instead.

Also politics make for boring and confrontational conversations that usually result in drama.

I warned this guy twice for talking excessively on the mic about irrelevant things. At one point he repeatedly said "I'm infected, I'm infected!" He did not heed my warnings so I muted him for maybe one or two minutes at most. I preceded to un-mute him and continue with the game. He tried to be buddy buddy with me but I was already fairly annoyed so I told him no I didn't want to be his friend. He started calling me a racist because I muted him and said I was violating his right to freedom of speech by muting him. At this point I simply thought he was mildly retarded similar to Corky on "Life Goes On." He then began to sing "Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear...." So I muted him and he left the server. You can talk to Cooper he was there and watched this go down. I followed rules and gave him two warnings followed by a temporary mute then he continued to abuse the mic so I muted him for good.

i watched it go down as well.

I apologize Duke, but one of our rules if you read it states no mic spamming. Continually speaking into the mic about things that do not concern pF or zombies or anything relating to that matter is an excuse for muting, especially if the admin warned you. If you want to talk about that sort of thing try steam friends. It won't cause so much hassle and you will not be muted.

If you want the topic locked upon being resolved, the stage is yours.

Since when can we not talk about stuff that is not server related? YOu can discuss anyting you want in the server as long as it is not excessive and gets annoying.

We've all had long convo's in game about nothing .None one of us has been banned or muted yet.

I don't understand what the issue is and why this thread is still alive. He was talking a good 75% of the time. It was bothersome not only too myself. I muted him for a min or two at most then un-muted him in order to demonstrate that he need to lay off. He began to sing songs, you know kind of like when people spam songs but not as good cause his voice was kind of nasally and pathetic. The rules state "Do not Overuse/Spam the Server through Chat or Mic." He was clearly overusing the mic. I warned him twice he continued. I temporarily muted him. He then continued and I muted him again. He left within minutes of that. Other Admins such as cooper were there and can vouch for me. What more could I have done to stop him from excessively using the mic? I think its bullshit he got so ass chapped over a fucking mute.

I was in the server at the time and this guy was singing songs and talking a lot. Barack told him to stop talking on the mic so much and the guy refused to listen and then started talking about obama and the election non-stop and about freedom of speech. Barack only muted him for about 1-3 minutes around there and then unmuted him and told him to lay off. I dont see that as admin abuse because as barack said it is a rule to not spam the mic.
