I like the idea, however If I Go to do something I'll be gone for more then a minute, so I keep getting sent to spec everytime I go to take a piss, not cool man.

I suggest upping the time to something where an AFK person would be noticable, atleast 10 minutes(or 2 rounds).

A few minutes would be fine. The problem is that the script does not work as advertised. Instead of just looking for viewing angle movement (as the in-game notice suggests), it must be looking for actual player movement. I tried this before my comp crashed, and I still got kicked to spec even though I was moving my mouse. However, when I moved my player, I stayed in-game. I say we start by fixing that and then seeing if the time limit needs to change.

next time you use the bathroom, time yourself. it should be more then a minute.

I say we measure it in rounds and have the move to spec After atleast 2 rounds.
What does this script even accomplish? If the server is full then moving them to spec doesn't let anyone else join. I say move 'em to spec after 2 rounds and then give 'em one more round before kicking them.

We want to get rid of afks not harbour them in spectate and take up what could be an active players spot.

I thought being in spectate does not take up one of the player slots?

Spec spots do take up server slots, only time you should kick anyone afk is when the server is full.

Map slots are different then server slots, "spawn points" If people can't get into the map then you can spec AFK people.

Right now it's moving "afk"(I use that word loosely) into spectate, still taking up an active player spot.

hmm...Could the script be editted to include Noticing if the keyboard has been used?
IE if JD is hiding in some crazy spot and mocking us through chat she won't be kicked, even though she hasn't touched her mouse.

    OR

If it can't recognize Keyboard as non-AFK-ness we can up the timeleft to two rounds and then just Kick, skipping Spectate all together.

I say okay to all this but we need to also kick the AFK in spec it starts getting annoying when we have about 15 people in game and 10 in spectate. I think admins should not be kicked and donaters but random people in spectater should be kicked after 1 round of AFK and The alive active players hiding problem should be fixed too!

Increased the time to 3minutes and thirty seconds (as requested by JD the other day), increased the constant timer from 20seconds to 10seconds (shouldn't be that much more expensive).

If you're still being moved to spectator... I really don't know what to say besides play the game. [IMG]

As for leaving people in Spectate, again. People have been requesting this for quite sometime, so I finally buckled down and got to it (I hacked down Liam's AFK manager and made some quite significant tweaks). SourceMod will automatically manage the player slots, so it's a non-issue really.
