Angry admins

-No offense to admins. This is just advice. [Pf] Pebbles is eternally awesome and this doesn't apply to him.- A place to vent. We need this topic. I've seen so many bans because of players complaining about admins. I've come dangerously close to being banned myself. A note to admins: Please don't get angry. We're all just here to have fun. Give a quick and clear warning and ban them if they won't stop (Make sure you know the weight of perm-bans). If you get angry, people are probably just going to act up more. Here's how it went for me the last time i played.-

Me-Hey, do you know the spectator glitch to make a barricade of guns? *pause for nearby admin's response*

Admin-Don't.

Me- Fine, i've done it before, it's awesome.

Admin-Tell me why i shouldn't ban you right now?

Me- Because i haven't done it yet. You can ban me later after i've actually done something...

Then the admin gets mad. I'm mad because i'm a veteran player on this server, and he's threatening to ban me for something i haven't even done yet! Basically, he then tells me how he wasn't expecting a snotty response. WTF!!! He was asking for it! It's the truth! I agreed with him and he decided to pick a fight with me!!!

What is the spectator gun glitch?

Another time-

Me-This server is awesome! I'm going to buy admin in a bit.

Admin- You probably wouldn't get it. You'd be a horrible admin.

Woah- Woah- Woah. Never tell somebody they would be a horrible admin!!! That's picking a fight with a player. I love this server, I'm a veteran player, and i've never done anything wrong except a little too much time on the mic. I've never even played music in the mic! That is offensive. That's not even your descision. Keep your rude opinions to yourself. God knows i do.

Me- Shut up little kid!

Then, right before i explain how rude that is and what's wrong with what he just said, the other admin that picked a fight with me earlier muted me. I left, rejoined, and explained my actions.

Admin- Respect your admins!

Me- Respect your players!!!

I don't know why i have to respect somebody who picks random fights. Look at [Pf] Pebbles! He nice about it. He doesn't pick fights. And he's not rude! [Pf] Dani and Pf. Kitty are also pretty good examples! *Venting* Oh well... I guess all admins can't be like [Pf] Pebbles...

Its a glitch that can crash the server. please dont do it. even hinting at it can get you muted/kicked

Let me explain. It's very hard to crash the server with a couple of guns. I did it by accident. Who knew spawning 3 awps really fast could do that? 3 guns is hardly gun-spamming. I don't know... Being banned for that is pretty harsh! Sorry about the yelling, but i'm venting right now. If i don't vent, i'm never going to let this go. That's why i made this topic for me and users like me. Don't judge me!!...

I can say it's awesome if i want. Geez... Haven't you all noticed this common glitch on Garry's Mod? Quite a fascinating glitch in the physics engine. Nice Steven Colbert pic Sauce Helmet.

we're on your side here for now, but if you get caught doing that glitch you will be punished.

glitching of any kind is a big offense.

I especially dont like getting kicked because of a server crash, much less an intentional one.

so don't do anything you wont regret ^_^

I agree with Taters and Sauce, If you know about a glitch and what it does PLEASE PLEASE don't do it. Its not that awesome at all really. The gun glitch is lame hehe. And Nokeekon is a pretty cool guy btw!

!guns is not there to abuse and make a 'cade of awps'..... !guns is there for you to take advantage of and use a stronger gun to build your cade, or a mp5 or p90 for more accuracy.... but spamming !guns is abusing the !guns menu, which is a no no ^_^

A move such as that can and will crash the server, and you fully knowing that and then attempting to do so would be something that needs to be delt with, but on the other hand with what you know now lets hope you wont do so again ^_^

I know where you're coming from. I've been noticing a LOT of admins threatening/using powers on player that THEY feel are disrespecting them. And I really don't like it at all. A player could just be asking about something or asking an admin a question, and the admin somehow takes it as disrespect, and kicks/bans the player for disrespect when there was no disrespect. But believe me, if the player were to come to the forums about it, and state his/her case. I would personally demote that admin.

As John said, admins tend to get a little... touchy. I never mean any disrespect to an admin, but when one picks a fight with me and makes sure he wins with his admin powers, i get pissed. In fact one guy got mad on the spot about admins doing that and he got banned. ---- I know the !guns cade is illegal, but seriously! He immediately gets right in my face and threatens me. He's asking me why not to just ban me. He was obviously asking for a fight. ---- I love your Ganondorf paintings scene. I have the original game in which he actually does that (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). ---- Ok guys, it's not that i'm trying to make spamming guns ok, but.... It's very hard to crash a server by spamming guns. I doubt 10 guys spamming as fast as possible could crash it before the server cleaned it up. Anyways, I will be on the server today after dark. Don't worry, i rarely glitch, and the worst glitch i've done is make a map kill us 10 instead of one by accident.

I don't remember. I'll record a demo, SteamID, name, and what they were doing next time. Do demos record microphone sounds too?

lol; wasn't me but on a side not we had a person spamming !guns in spectate and they filled a entire cade with people in it with smg's could not pick up who it was because spectate didn't show anyone as a spectator besides me and I was following the guns that were dropping while it happened, no one was "dead" on either team either
