iPod touch owners. If any are here besides Taters and I. Remember when it first came out? Couldn't wait to get your hands on it. only came in 8gb and 16gb. Then they introduced the 32GB model shortly after. We thought it would end there. But change is bound to happen with Apple. Look at the MacBook Air. They recently re-introduced the iPod touch. Changes? It now has a sleeker design, built-in speaker, and volume controls added on the left side of iPod. Everything else is still as is, but, come on Apple. Why? Why torture the ones who have purchased your products? They did the same thing to the iPhone users. the 3G. Tell me if it seems worth it, if it seems like bad luck to the previous iPod touch users, or your input. link: Apple's latest screw-over.
lol sry no. I wont buy a product that requires me to re-purchase all my music that I already have, in order to put it on my player. No thanks, I'll use one that uses freeware software.
They have an option allowing you to burn every song and show on your iTunes. It is included in iTunes 7.
We call this an early adoption fee. You buy early, you pay the premium(in lack of features, as compared to later versions, and/or higher price) so you can use one before everyone else, on top of just plain using it when first available. Same thing happened to iPhone consumers. Turtlewax bought a touch a few months ago, and he loves it.
Lol. I just jailbroke my iPod touch. I was thinking about getting the newer iPod touch, but then I remembered I didn't want to turn into those guys that have like, 17 separate ipod touch's.
Alot of what they are doing in a way is smart business. When sales start to drop or the item isn't as hot make some tweaks to it and poof people go omg i gotta have it, it gives you head while you listen to music, holy shit. Seriously in all products that are sold company's try to leave room for expansion because if you made a item with everything done the first time what room for improvement do you. Only choice is become old news and become a forgotten product. Seriously technology isn't like certain things like wd40 which has been around for ever, it's constantly changing.
Funny you say wd40. My bathroom smells like that because of my stupid brother. Just thought that was funny that you mentioned it.
well it's a great product and heavily guarded secret. but point being is i think that apple stuff is a bit over priced and can be more of a hassle to use than other stuff at times. The thing is alot of people find it easy to use from the lack of features that others simply love. So it kind of breaks down to a what are you looking for kind of thing at the time and if your willing to wait or not for something better. Only something better is always around the corner so you pay to be the one with the best thing for the time. kind of want a apple but to mess around with and if i did it would take any cash from a new comp. So don't see that happening any time soon.
A great thing though is at the apple stores they have workshops and places where they teach you how to use their products. It's pretty cool. I noticed it when I went in to switch out my dead iPod touch.
