Due again to the amount of porn links posted on the forums i have put the settings back to email and than admin approval for any new members. The few forums that are open for free posts if it becomes a problem will be switched back into member only.

If you register please allow a day for your account to be approved.

What worked on my other 2 forums is Textual Confirmation with strange questions that only a human would be able to answer. The mod I installed is for phpBB, I'll fetch the link for you if you want it. You write your own range of questions and valid answers, all the ones that fail can be sent (or not) to an email address.
