    pings were above 250 for all players for an hour or so, now they're back down to 100+. still bad

    I've mailed Valve numerous times regarding the moronically high CPU usage, I suggest you do the same.

    With this being said, I think I have a work around. It's going to require a lot of logic to do correctly, though. So in the end it could be counter productive.
