Diabolic (or similar spelling)

Hello Plague fest, I frequent your servers under user names such as "TSA-Medic, paramedic, etc." I am one of the most mellow players (ask your Mr. Pink, or similar day-time admin). Earlier this afternoon (one of my two off days a week) my brother and I were playing a round of zombie mod when an administrator by the name of "Diabolic" or similar requested he (my brother) change his name from "Negro." Now, while he found this offensive, it meant nothing more than the color black in Spanish. Please note that no other players on the server found it offensive. He was banned for refusing to change it (after all, why should he? Nothing malicious was going on here). I was subsequently banned for applying a name change to my account to the effect of "Negro is not an offensive word."

The way this juvenile admin behaved was totally unacceptable and certainly not becoming of the Plague Fest servers reputation. Through the various experiences I have had with your other admins, I have ascertained that the leadership to this clan is quite reasonable and intelligent. Having a person of this "caliber" representing your organization is despicable.

Perhaps we should have an age requirement for server administrators? 12+

But honestly, I work nearly 100 hours a week (I am a full time Paramedic in Wheeling, WV). Do you honestly believe that I would ever visit any Internet server with the intention of causing grief? I don't have time to deal with children like Diabolic.

Is he a paying administrator? I would likely say yes. If this is the case I am willing to offer you monthly payment of his current expenses X 2. That way you will not have any economic repercussions on your part. In fact, it would be a financially sound decision! On one side you would removing a user who drives traffic away (the customer) and be gaining twice the income.

In any case, I hope you will understand that my absence of screen captures are simply a result of rapidly being banished from the server.

At the very least I would hope that you would be willing to repeal both mine and my brother's ban so we can continue playing on the well managed and always entertaining servers of Plague Fest.

Yeah, I find it funny how I play with pinky, spacedouchebag, kitty, and many others and I've never had a problem.

Alot of our admins are sensitive to that word. Also negro while you might not mean it offensive or to be racist will always lead up to it with other players saying something. So it more fuels it. That is why we dont allow any form of the word in any context because it always leads to trouble. I think the other thread john said it was 20 minute bans.

I dont know if there is another nickname that you could pick? Has this ever been a problem before?

Yeah, when you guys refer to black people what word do you use? I'm sure you've said black or negro before. Thanks for understanding.

I would stay away from those words. In america americans are very sensitive to those words. Also it is asking for some immature kid to say something when he hears those words. There is plenty of other words in the english language. Its not like we are taking away a word that needs to be used in every day life.
