Tax cut on the rich isnt a bad thing, in fact is what those companies (of the rich) need to keep people and hire new ones. More taxes on them only see another reason to fire people, even those with seniority and union jobs. Less taxes of the people who pay 60% of the taxes in America, is what keeps jobs growing and hiring.

The people who voted for Obama, only see it was a couple of issues. Not political issues, but of being black and not being old as Macain. Plus, that Obama spent 600 million dollars on advertising, while the limit of spending was 84 million. These people broke the laws to continuously advertise nonstop on right winged and left winged channels nonstop. Macain upheld the budget of advertising, while Obama clearly spent almost six times as much to pump the stations ( of radio and television).

This country ( my country) has to be the stupidest country of all time. How can a person with no experience beat out a person that has served his country since the age of 17? People feared the death of Macain, and the Republicans didn’t fully support him either. In the end, we didn’t have our shit together. But we as a party and people are not calling for a recall. If Obama was white and spouting the same bull as he was, he would’ve never won.

The point being is that the American people fell for it. Most reports coming into the news state that those who voted are “NOW†seeing the faults in Obama. 46% of the countries energy is supplied by coal. WTF Obama, why say that with a huge supply of energy to housing energy supply? Because he is one of these Gore green earth types. Why say that 250,000 dollars a year will be taxed extra, to spread the wealth around? Well, you know, that amount is only a figure. Soon it will be people with 100,000 dollars a year, then 50,000, then 25,000. Sooner or later, to pay for the faults of left cooperation’s out of country and stopped or failed small business, it will end up being anyone with a job must pay the those taxes ( and believe you me, out the nose).

Obama, first of all, was apart of the biggest cook the books scam of real estate. In the top two, I believe, and showing he was a huge markestes and extreme leftist. WTF America?!?! Didn’t they see he was as bad as the rest of them, even with so little time in office? HE BOUGHT IN! Right off the bat, he was taking money off of fake figures, as a senator. What will he do as commander and chief? I think back to Carter and Clinton.

But you know what, I can’t wait. You may consider this as my acceptance of failure. What will come is priceless. There is so much talk about assassination, soon attacks on America and more failed attempts in the stock market. Whatever, bring it on! I can’t wait to see what happens next! It’s all fun and games in the real world and OBAMAEPICFAIL won’t be ready, for any of it. Enjoy America!

If McCain dies... You would all be ok with Sarah Palin to be your president for the next 4 years?

Also, ORLY. I have to ask, are you in the $250,000 group?

Mccain would have not died, its not like hes in his 90's, and thats why a lot of people are idiots. A lot of people voted for Obama because they were scared of him dieing.

He wouldnt and now every one of you obama voters have to deal with the bullshit that is now going to happen.

ORLY is a parcel handler for UPS.

I'm not gonna wade too far into this, all I'm gonna do is raise a few questions and state some facts. Being an economics grad student you can guess where i stand...maybe not.

ORLY made a very good point. anyone who wants to "soak the rich" with taxes needs to be careful with how they define rich. My family's business makes around a million a year in revenue. However, we bring in under 50k a year in profit, which is my mom's paycheck. Yet, under Obama's proposed plan we will be taxed based on revenue, not on profit. Even after the "tax breaks" we're going to have to lay off at employees b/c we can't make ends meet even after she has stopped paying herself. It's really quite retarded to tax ppl more when the economy is in bad condition. Even the founder of social liberal economics, John Keynes, would call Obama a nut if he tried to get his taxes passed anytime in the near future.

at the time of this post, the Dow is down 400 points. As an indicator of people's feelings about the future, the Dow is pretty reliable. After at least a week of recovery, all 3 of the major markets are taking a plunge of about 4-5% today...and we had an election yesterday. That can kinda tell you what investors see in the future. high unemployment most likely.(btw the latest unemployment level i've seen is september, which was 6.0%. Still remarkably low compared to history and the rest of the developed world, save Canada, which usually hangs around US unemployment.) If we start taxing people more before the economy hits 2-4% growth we're in for one hell of a depression.

O and one other thing to consider: Obama raised more money than ANYONE in US political history. He raised 3-4 times more than McCain. Yet the popular vote was 47% McCain, 52% Obama. If all the rich people wanted McCain to win b/c he was gonna lower their taxes, shouldn't he have closed the campaign donation gap more with Obama? Obama is a charismatic figure yes, but so was Clinton and he never raised that much more than Bush or Dole. Kinda interesting.

OK, i didnt read every ones essay on the world. Basically, I voted for obama. Mccain may have not been a bad president. But I wouldnt want Palin to come any closer to washington than Alaska. She can keep on looking at russia from her home.

EDIT: arent most the people posting in here ineligible to vote? why does it even matter to you (curious, thats all)? heck i never really cared until I am getting out of med school, lol.

absolutely right. We can't change a damn thing. I dunno how Canadians do it, but we'll gladly bitch and moan for years and years. It's a never ending cycle. One part of me is happy that the Republicans lost it all. Now i can blame EVERY bad thing on democrats for the next 2 years.
