I saved a dog

I named him Wicket.
There's two versions of this story.

Version 1:
He wandered into my backyard, and my Akita pinned him down and was ready to attack him. I ran straight for my dog and picked him up and threw him away from the Wicket, who at the time ran into my garage and then later on after getting him out of there, under my Corvette. By the time I got him out of under the car, he was covered in dirt, water, spider webs and all sorts of aids and failure that I couldn't even describe more than him looking like a seal that escaped an oil spill.

He was about two feet away from going through the fence and I'd never see him again. I scooped him up and took him inside to give him a bath. He looked in bad shape. My dad and I washed him for a good half hour and went from baby seal in an oil spill to the pic above. We're deciding on what to do with him as we speak.

Version 2:
[CRASH][EXPLOSIONS] AFTER THE BATTLE OF ENDOR, WICKET FOUND HIS WAY ON A TIE FIGHTER AND THE MASSIVE AIRCRAFT CRASH LANDED IN MY BACK FUCKING YARD. MY DOG SAW HIM AS A THREAT AND WENT INTO BATTLE STANCE AS WICKET'S POWER MASK FELL OFF. HE WAS DEFENSELESS AND THREATENED MY DOG WITH TAE-KWON-DO. MY DOG COULD NOT GRASP THE CONCEPT THE ONCE EWOK TURNED MORTAL DOG FORM WAS CHALLENGING HIM WITH AND ADMITTED DEFEAT. I captured him and I'm holding him hostage as his homing beacon that has been placed on him has faltered, they can have him back when my demands are met.

Cool man, I saved a rabbit, but I'm rereleasing it soon. It's still pretty young so I'm gonna feed and care for it 'till it "ready"/

...Where's the name wicket from? Was that the name of an ewok in star wars? It's a cool name, I'm just clueless as to where it's from.
