sad thing is, the internet companies dont want to upgrade. Why spend billions of $$ in upgrading infrastructure, which will likely be saturated in another 20 yrs, when u can INSTEAD just limit internet usage by doing the fee-per-GB or w/e the f*** they call it. Its pathetic. I'm just looking forward to the day when this bites them in the ass. Then we can say "told ya so"!
its really not that bad though, we went from #1 to #15, and they say it will take us over 100 years to catch up. I doubt because japan is so small compared to the US. We could easily have it if they would produce it in the main cities of the US. it would spread like wildfire
Actually, I'm in Northern Ireland which is part of the UK. I'm getting nowhere near those speeds though. Apparently NI is on the cutting edge of networking cause it's such a small county, but we seem to be no match for the damn commies.
