    I'd say this is a little premature... shit was just put up last night and we haven't worked out the minor kinks yet, but I suppose more public play would make it easier to find what needs to be fixed.

    Few suggestions:

    1) Twice walking speed for props during counter to ensure they can get to spots on larger maps.
    2) Noblock disabled when props type !freeze, or noblock is set to a counter like on ZM at round start - noblock makes it obvious to see what's a fake prop and what isn't.
    3) Make sure minimaps are DISABLED.

    I'd do this shit myself if I knew how. :frown:

    A few more suggestions (including the suggestions Brian made):
    1) Add some more prop types (i guess that's already planned)
    2) Instead of choosing a prop, make it random with a single repick each round
    3) Another optional things are crouch jumps, cause there a plenty of spots you can only reach with a crouch jump.
    But don't even think about it, if it deactivates the crouch protection entirely.
    4) I'm not sure if it's just me, but i can not open the switch teams dialog after e.g. i get kicked into spectator because the ct team is full.

    allow to switch through props each round: some people like to view all props then pick a definite one lol.

    I also like how this is a copy paste of minigames. Adverts will need editing if this stays. That I can do. Changing my noblock suggestion to only disable it if the player does type !freeze, since some props, like small bushes can be walked through already - you'd want to be able to get walked through as well.

    Also experienced some lag, going to blame that on the still botched kernel? :confused: We should really just get that single box if limestone does end up changing the invoice date.

    FUCK YEAH!!! I remember prophunt! I've only ever found 1 server that did it though and it was never really full and I think it got taken down. IDR. Anywho, hide and seek sounds fun. I'll have to check it out to see how it differs.

    Current ideas for the server:

    - Faster walking speed for props at round start
    - Force drop weapons/nades of CT's that are automatically switched to T
    - !solid command that will turn noblock off on you so that you cannot be walked through - this is a command since with some props you would want to have noblock on, such as bushes.
    - Hide minimap for CT's
    - Allow CT's to crouch
    - Don't know if this is possible, but it would help admins swap CT's that have been hunters for maps on end over to T - the only substitute right now is to kick them, so maybe /swap <name>?
    - MAYBE: New props added into the maps with dynamic locations that get shifted every round
    - MAYBE: New command for CT's that will send out a single beacon pulse, ie: !pulse - can only be used once per round per ct
    The last two would require EXTENSIVE testing to ensure the game mode is still balanced and fair between CT and T, but it does seem a randomized element is required to keep the game mode from getting old and maps from getting RTV'd all the time.

    Thoughts? Any other ideas?

    we definitely need !solid because there are a few perfect spots on certain maps that this would benefit hiders! <ignore if this is tupid

    Is there a particular reason you're against allowing CT's to crouch? It makes sense for props but I can't think of any reason to disable crouching for CT's.

    I thought they where already able too, and I haven't played as CT so I wouldn't know for sure!
