It looks promising, so I hope they don't screw it up. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'd probably end up playing on the "zombie" team most of the time, the 'hunter' just sounds so awesome. Almost like "ninja zombies" if you think about it...

They will probably have an online purchase over Steam, and an in-store boxset later one, similar to what they did for The Ship.

    Already researched it beforehand...

The 'survivors' are supposedly immune to the virus, while the rest of the city has been turned into mutated, crazed zombie-like creatures. The survivor team, consisting of '4' people, has to battle their way through the map, to reach a designated point to 'win' the round. If you die as a survivor, it's possible to either respawn in a 'closet' some distance away from your team, where you are trapped until they open the door, or you can come back as one of the 'boss type' infected, each with unique abilities.(respawning would depend on the server settings of course)

No, I did not copy/paste that. I just get bored sometimes so I go read articles for upcoming games.

I think it would be good, even with only 8 people. Playing zombie mod right now is like building a team of people I want to play with. Ones that are not completley retarded all the time and can actually work together.

It's a pity we cannot ban his IP (...can we...?) because he has popped up under a different name already.

wow i only just now found out about this...wiki described it pretty well. Looks like it'll be good, but no where did it say anything about # of players, but since its the same guys who developed CSS, i just assumed it'd have lots of players too. Anyways, I think I might have to get this one

    8. As above, four on human and four on zombie. And yes an unlimited amount of AI.

I really love what they are doing with the AI.

We'll have to see how much cpu it requires on average to run. I think Cam mentioned samp got a new box recently? No idea what they're using it for or if he can even do what he wants with it, etc, but I'm hoping we can setup a plaguefest server on l4d. Just some late night fun every once in a while, etc.
