It uses the Frostbite 2 engine I think, could be wrong, so if you liked the amount of destruction in BF:BC2(Frostbite 1.5) then expect it to be awesome.

I love BC2. Nothing quite as awesome as blowing out a wall of a building, jumping in and killing 4 unsuspecting enemies. Or destruction 2.0'ing MCOMs. And BF2 was awesome too. This is gonna be fantastic.

I say BF3 > then all other first person shooter

I've been playing a lot to BFBC2 with maxed out graphics and I cannot imagine how amazing BF3 graphics are gonna be in game :woot:

Gameplay > graphics, but yeah, they do look great so far...

    Some slowed-down footage:

They were sure right about one thing, one of the highlights of the BF3 engine are realistic animations. The death animation in the second screenshot looks really good. Sure is a step up from the BF2 death animations.

It is in-game footage, but do keep in mind that all "in-game" footage you see during trailers is always shown using top of the line hardware and post-processing. In reality, hardly anyone will actually have their game look exactly like what you see in a trailer.

That's not to say that we're being lied to though, they're just showing the potential maximum of what we could get out of it.
