[pf]moofasa grotesque admin abuse

So I joined and we were playing on zm_novum and on one of the rounds, moofasa got turned into a zombie by another human that was too close to the wood wall that got stabbed through it.
He proceeded to slap and freeze the player (the freeze wasn't shown in the console for some reason.)



BlakOut, myself and a few other people told him to stop abusing admin because it's not against the rules to accidentally get turned and backstab, which he promptly replied "I warned him not to go close to the wood slats, but he did anyway." We told him you can't slap/freeze a player for being a noob, and would report him for abuse. He replied that he would ban any of us for doing so immediately. I got the tail end of it on a demo, and BlakOut and a few outer people would vouch he was on a supreme power trip.

I only slapped him to warn him not to shoot the cade, he tried breaking my cade so i froze him. end of a story.

Did you personally witness this in action, or was it only through the chat box?

I was there, I saw what happened and so did BlakOut. I was on top of the gazebo and BlakOut was the zombie that stabbed powercrazy through the slats. Just before powercrazy got stabbed, he got stuck in a vending machine next to the slats and was trying to get un-stuck by shooting the vending machine when he got stabbed, and then backstabbed moofasa.

In the next map, I confronted moofasa about the abuse again and he kept changing his story and saying that we were being disrespectful for calling him out on admin abuse.

I hate to have to comment because Moofasa is a cool guy and I enjoy playing with him, but Gigabyte is correct in this case.

Moofasa told the guy not to stand near the door, because he would die. Well, when I ran up to try to kill Moofasa and the guy, I was able to reach the other dude by jumping into the doorframe and knifing. The guy immediately turned around and killed Moofasa, which pissed him off. So, to get revenge, Moofasa started slapping and freezing the guy. We asked Moofasa not to use his admin unless the guy broke the rules. Moofasa's response was "I told him not to stand near the door, but he did, and it got me killed."

That much of it was minor, but it immediately got more serious. When Gigabyte, Grannyrapist and myself all offered to create this report on the forums, Moofasa said, and I quote, "Ok, which one of you is going to go report me so I can ban you right now." When we asked why he was going to ban us, he said "You're disrespecting an admin by calling me an abuser."

I wish I would not of left. Its sad that I have the feeling I need to quit playing when moofasa joines the server because of his abuse tward myself.

I allready sent a msg to an admin about him warning me and telling me he was going to ban me for cade breaking even after the fact I said sorry many times and that it was an accident.

I think top level admins need to start taking things more serious with repeat complaints agains the same admin. I love playing on PF servers but this guy makes me want to leave every time he joins because im afraid he will ban me. And we should not have to be afraid of admins as they are here to make sure the server is under controll and not having jerks in it who really break the rules.

You should not have to worry about getting banned unless you do something seriously wrong. Even if you do get banned for a reason that is not justifiable, you can always post it here. I would like a response from Moofasa regarding this statement however.

And we do take every admin abuse complaint seriously. As far as I know this is the first official complaint filed against Moofasa. It is not our policy to remove admins on their first abuse offense unless it is severe. It's usually on a 3-strike system.

Heres my side of the story, guy got stuck in my cade and tried shooting it out, slapped him, warned him then froze him, and them too come out of no where they dont even see whats hapening and start Ganging up sayin theyll report me, I warned them and told to stop disrespecting me and if they keep doing it ill ban them.

Like i said, if you have any proofs i abused anyone just show it to the Senior admins and ill take the consiquences.

It's not threatening. It's telling them what they're going to do. It's like going to a store and an employee is treating you wrongfully and you say "I'm going to speak with your manager."

While it's largely open to interpretation, I would have to agree with Penguin. Some people would consider threats as an act of disrespect, others would not. It would be better to quietly report them on the forum, but I believe you still should be able to ask questions regarding their actions in game as long as it is not in an argumentative/threatening tone.

Banning for threatening/arguing with an admin would have overkill though, as the punishment procedure states that before getting banned, you'll be muted first. Am I correct in assuming that Moofasa at least warned them to stop first?
