    I took a look around the forums, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how the points system works? Is there any kind of guide or information as to what actions points get awarded?

    Either:

    2 points per kill as a human
    3 points per kill as a zombie



    Or vise versa.

    What about that Score that shows up beside your ping when you hold tab?

    Thats your total points. It saves.

    So when you see scores of over 2k they've been playing for a while.

    Yeah if you kill a zombie, you get 3 points since zombies take longer to kill (at least by yourself) and 2 points if you kill a human... I guess the scores reset themselves once in a while, so the true point total lies in "!stats" but for the most part TAB is accurate
