Vista deserves more credit than people give it, its the blatant retards that can't properly update their system that badmouth it the most, the rest are people with genuine compatibility issues or just fan boys trying to fit in with everyone who says it sucks. I tested it 5 times, each time I switched back, but I never gave up on it, and my most recent switch seems to be solid, the thought of even considering going back to XP hasn't come anywhere close to my mind (that's a damn good accomplishment on Vista's part)

and what's fun about horribly rendered CG spheres?

Beta 2 was perfect minor compatibility issues, Beta 3 Ok now were getting somewhere, RC0, Meh I guess aero looks purdy, RC1 FFS NO, RC2 Alright no more BSOD, "Bill gates Edition" Meh pretty tweaked but still. Retail Service pack 0 Stable but -20FPS in games? I don't think so, Service pack 1 Meh I can barely notice a difference but still perfer Windows xp.

Theres my childish but accurate time line of all the updates, and or series that Vista  AKA Longhorn :woot: has been through.

I did try out vista, and liked a lot of features on it. It was cool, but the problem was the compatibility issues.
All the programs that I use now, all the games that I play won't install on vista.

That's my only problem with vista.

And c'mon, my desktop is pretty. lol

lol, the only game I encountered that had fucked problems on Vista was BF2142 - but that was back in like.. RCsomething so who knows, and that was also on old EVGA Video card drivers (well, Vista release driver, but old version opposed to TODAY's)

Also After Effects had Visual C++ errors once in a while, which made me switch back, but I have yet to see any errors in this recent version I've installed. SA-MP even works like a charm! (Before it looked like it ran in 8bit color...)

So, I'm happy, and John, I hope you don't base the way you see girls the way you see your desktop, cause if you think that's pretty... :ninja:

          JESUS H CHRIST.

We have much more in common than initially thought. (Apart from the whole vista hating thing - I love it)

True, but actually downloading AIM would slow down my machine when I start it up. I got AIM on my laptop anyways, so I'll continue being gay!
