Question

Okay I need to know if I'm !ztele-ing away from zombies.

I was in a room that was caded good, until a zombie clawed at the wall behind me which sounded like one that broke, So I said "FUCK!" and hit !ztele, the Zombie(Name Removed) Said they saw me as I teleported away, I know I typed it before the wall broke.

I'm not argueing wether or not the zombie should of had me frozen and killed, I'm wondering if you hear a zombie Starting to break through the wall if you can hit !ztele if you know the wall(when broken) will kill you.

My defense that it shouldn't is that They are after you, but UNTIL they break through, they don't "Have you in their sights".

should this be a punishable offense? i don't think so. i'd do the same thing in a quick-like adrenaline fueled reaction. especially after building a barricade. technically its not against the rules to for you !ztele from a zombie that doesn't see you but if he knows you're there, it could be argued that it was breaking the rules.

In my opinion, using !ztele to escape when you know there is a zombie knocking at your door is considered an abuse of the command.

You're assuming that the zombie doesn't know you're there. In most cases zteleing doesn't avoid being turned but rather steals a kill from a zombie that put in the effort to look in a caded room or one behind a breakable wall. It sounds like you didn't know that the wall was breakable otherwise you might not have utilized that room. Additionally how well built was your cade if you zteled away? In my opinion it seems the zombie was penalized for your lack of information regarding the spot. Of course I'm biased as I was the zombie. i think if you're 100% certain the zombie doesn't know you're there its not an issue because there is no way for them to no you zteled. However I saw you and thus knew it was you. I think in general its kind of cheap and you obviously got turned right after. I can see your argument however in the end you still get turned and the deserving zombie doesn't get the kill.

Even if the zombie doesn't see you in there, it's still an abuse of the command. There's always someone watching from the shadows.

I know I'm not really active on the server, but I'd think !ztele should be for only when you are stuck. Whether or not the guy knows you're there, you're still using it to avoid being hit.

/agree with Milky. And once you're in a cade, you shouldn't be able to !ztele out.

so what happens if your in and then there a bunch of ppl that tend to fail that jump in? and you dont wanna be there?

In that case sometimes i get out of the cade or if there is not enough room to get out I just ztele. As long as the zombie has not spawned yet i think there is no problem with doing.

same goes for hitting your spec key, you crack whore.

But what I am saying is your in the room and then zombies spawn, but none spawn in your room... no zombie attacks your cade yet but you can see that the group of people you are with are full of fail

If this is before a zombie is even close but you have retarded teammates getting close to the windows and whatnot. Yeah you can !ztele out. I've done it before just to at least die like a man; running and screaming like a little girl from zombies.

Alright so can that be added as like a side note to the !ztele rule? that way we don't have arguements.
