recommend me a phone

I'm due for an upgrade with T-Mobile and I'm unsure what phone I should get this time around.

I'm open to pretty much anything.

I'll give you a recommendation on what not to get, a sidekick!

I am happy with it; it doesn't require a data plan.
love the alarm clock. it vibrates, flashes and is fairly loud.

Motorola bumblegum pink imo

Get the Nokia 5130, it's a pretty nice phone all-around. I'd go into the store and check it out first, but that's probably the only phone I'd even consider if I was on T-Mobile right now.

And I'm big on cell phones, my friend's dad works in the cellphone app industry, and as a result, she gets tons of phones. We're phonophiles

The photo quality is so-so, but it's two megapixels, so you can't go too wrong. Also, it's got a relatively small internal memory, so you'd want a memcard to go with it if you plan on putting -any- music or taking a decent amount of photos

i want to get that phone with the HD megapixle camera...you know that one that showed up in that "HD cameraphone challenge" on youtube?

other than that, if you like a phone with all the bells and whistles, make sure its got decent battery life, because most of the phones go for show and it drains life out of it like there's no tomorrow.

only if you're REALLY REALLY talkative, and a belligerent idiot towards it, most phones should last a long time on one charge. I keep my phone on 24/7 and text/talk on it a lot. it's also my ipod. it lasts about two-three days without charge, so, just don't be bad about it.

only saying because i had a new, NEW phone straight from the factory and it's supposedly long battery life stays "long" if you dont text a lot.

i hardly use my phone for talking, let alone txting while im at work, and i need to charge it almost everyday.
