Anyone seen any of the Resident Evil movies? If so, please tell me your opinions on the ones you've seen and if you want to see any future ones. They are in production on making the 4th one.
They are making a 4th RE movie? When did they make a 3rd? I don't remembr seeing any previews at any time for a 3rd RE movie... I guess later I'll have to do some research on it.
I checked IMDB He is mistaked there is only 2 resident evils and they are not working on a third one.
Yes they are. i'll give proof. Sorry, you're right I meant to put 3rd not 4th lol. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0432021/
Fine Ok they are working on a thrid one. I dont know why because the second one was a failure even though i enjoyed it lol. Also the first one didn't do that well either. I was the only one that liked the second one.
I've seen both of them and for me personally, I liked the second movie better than the first. The only problem I have so far is there hasn't been any word yet as to how many of them they are going to make. Are they going to keep producing them to keep up in numbers with how many resident evil games there are? If so...is Milla Jovovich locked down to play Alice for any further releases? That's one thing about sequels I can't stand...when they replace the main character(s). I guess only time will tell...
People like you (i.e. people who prefer sequels over the original movies) make me sick! Just kidding! Nevertheless, I would say that 9 out of 10 sequels fall short of the original movie. Some notable examples: 1) The Matrix Reloaded (and Revolutions)... I suppose nothing could live up to the original Matrix: it was one of those movies that comes along once in a while and revolutionizes the film industry. But still... too much time was spent in the "real world" and not enough scenes of Neo and Morphius dealing some serious whup-ass inside the matrix. 2) The Godfather, Part III. Part II was one of those rare sequels which surpassed the original movie. Part III, on the other hand... As far as I know, my brother is the only person out there who actually preferred that movie over the other two. 3) I could go on, but it suffices to say that Resident Evil 2 is a worthy cndidate for this list. On another note, although I agree with you about the replacement of main characters in future films, but sometimes recasting a main character can revitalize a series of movies. After all, if they didn't regularly recast James Bond, that series of movies would have long since died out (although there were certainly some 'dud' Bonds over the years -- such as Dalton). Also, I really like Harrison Ford's portrayal 'Jack Ryan' in Clear and Present Danger and Patriot Games, but he wasn't the first actor (nor the last) to play 'Ryan'. The first 'Jack Ryan' was played by Alec Baldwin in The Hunt For Red October. He played a decent (but not 'Ford'-quality) Ryan.
watched every single one several times + special features and special scenes.. i love it.. look at my name =)
never would have guessed you would be a resident evil fan UCS  <_< ive seen the first and i didnt know they had made a second one till recently, need to see it as well. im a big fan of RE and mia jovovich (she is so hot) so i especially liked the first one. hope the second is as good
