However if you're on TorrentLeech, SCC, or ScT there is no point in this really as in my opinion 0day wise those are the most general trackers out there. This should be a given but PlagueFest does not condone Copyright infringement in anyway what so ever.

I'd take a good look at the rules for revoTT, I've been using it for awhile, and you really do need a seedbox to keep using it, as you HAVE to keep your ratio above 1 once you've downloaded +10 gigs, otherwise your account gets banned.

They also ban you if you leech a torrent then don't seed it at all, they only ban you if you do it constantly though.

im getting frustrated.
so like. ive gone in my router& in windows and forwarded a port. buuuuuut its not working. i dont fucking get it. and its making me mad.
cause all my other torrents are seeding except the one ive d/led from RTT.

so wtf can i do?

A torrent only seeds if someone downloads what your uploading even if it says seeding. And a 1+ ratio is fine for me On what.cd im 1:1, TC im 2:2 so its really not hard once you get use to uploading your own stuff. Hardest site im on so far is what.cd but soon enough i am getting a seed box and that will solve my problems

Meh, I'm doing fine at home on everything I'm on haha. I was with OVH with a couple buds however I couldn't afford to keep it anymore as almost everyone backed out on the payments.

Hit and running is not allowed. Stay on torrents you have completed and try to attain a 1:1 ratio. However, use your common sense, seed things that are short of seeds in preference to those with many.
"No Hit And Running Allowed or be BANNED!!"

Rules... I guess, if anyone gets banned for having a low ratio I'm going to actually giggle.

Also, if you do get banned... unplug your router and modem for 5minutes. Plug it all back in and just resign up... lol

so what advantage does this RevTT have over, say http://torrentscan.com/ to search and uTorrent to download

Thats what I currently use and it works quite well.

If this has the chance to be better than what I currently use, I am up to try it.

Its actually a private tracker and way more seeds than leechers since you are REQUIRED to keep a ratio. Only thing wrong with this site is you can buy upload credit... meh

That's what I currently use and it works quite well.

As Thomas said, one of the main differences you will notice is in my opinion huge, a faster download speed with seeders trying to maintain a proper ratio along with yourself. The whole idea of "Private" trackers is to give back what you take, maintain a Download:Upload Ratio of 1:1. To be honest I can't go back to Torrentz, or in your case TorrentScan after I started getting really into this... then eventually moving on from torrents going onto something much cooler that has been around longer

Long story short, this will be infinitely better and safer (Much less chance of getting a DMCA notice from your ISP, if you haven't yet consider yourself lucky. I've gotten two from using Demonoid a couple years ago :/).

Besides just getting better seeds you do get to join a whole new community and meet some cool people who will help you with your noob questions like when i ask them they are just about always polite.And alot of them are steam gamers so you get new people to play games with.
